Unfortunately we only had a morning to spend in Bar Harbor. Shortly after we anchored the US Immigration
Officers came aboard and cleared us in a surprisingly expedient and efficient procedure and we were
cleared to take one of the tenders to shore. We have visited Bar Harbor on many previous occasions and
enjoyed walking through the village. Unfortunately several of the waterfront restaurants and shops we had
enjoyed in the past had been torn down and a new hotel was under construction.
